Who's Who in White Leaf Support
Kelly joined White Leaf Support in January 2019 and has more than 21 years experience in health and social care. For the past 14 years she has been responsible for a range of different care and support services at a senior level and has latterly been a senior commissioner for working age adults at a local authority. Kelly is absolutely passionate about providing the very best service to the people supported by us and developing staff to support each individual to be as independent as they can be.
When she’s not busy working, she loves spending time with her family and has two school aged children who keep her on her toes!
Head of Care and Support
Sue has worked in adult social care for 20 years. She started her career working at a team leader based in a busy respite service for adults with learning disabilities and autism. She has gained experience of managing services supporting adults living with severe and enduring mental health issues, and older adults living with dementia. She has been a Registered Manager with the Care Quality Commission. Sue has worked her way up and has been in a senior management position for the past 10 years. Sue is a busy working mum, and in her spare time she enjoys travelling, walking and is studying for a Masters at university.
Business Development, Training, and Marketing Manager
Victoria has worked within health and social care for the past 25 years. She qualified as a learning disability nurse in 2003 and has worked for private companies, and charities within senior, and operational roles since. Also a qualified tutor, and counsellor, Victoria delivers our in-house training courses. Victoria has a passion for environmental issues, and is a vegan. She is currently undertaking her level 7 Management qualification.
Frank has worked in the care and support sector for over 25 years. Initially he worked as a Nursing Auxiliary while at the same time undertaking a degree. Frank decided to use his degree to undertake a career in special needs childcare, predominantly working in the residential department of a school for the deaf. After managing that department and children’s homes for around 15 years he decided to make a change and started to work with adults with varying needs. For the past 6 years Frank has worked to set up and manage various homes supporting adults with a range of disabilities including physical, sensory and learning.
As anyone who knows Frank will know, he wears very loud Hawaiian shirts! Frank is also fluent in sign language, and a vegetarian. When not working he likes spend his time reading, listening to music, traveling and walking.
Charlie has worked with people with learning disabilities and autism for over 15 years. Prior to joining White Leaf Support Charlie worked in both children and adults services across schools, play-schemes and day centres.
Charlie is passionate about building quality relationships and understanding the individuals she works with. She has developed a robust experience of autism along the way and strong knowledge of challenging behaviour and ADHD.
When not working, Charlie has a close family and enjoys socialising with a wide group of friends. She loves cars and car shows and has recently discovered parasailing.
HR and Recruitment Officer
